Settings

Tap the gear button at the top right. The top of Settings shows how you're addressed, your captain's name and your Renown. Each section opens on its own screen.

You

Captain & Castle

• Lord or Lady
• Name: your name, up to 18 characters
• Home: your home island's name. It's Saltmere until you change it.
• Customize your castle and fleet: opens Customization

Captain's Log

Your stats on this island, across every island, and online. See Infamy & Achievements.

App Icon

Pick the ship on your home screen. Reach new islands and sink warlords to earn more. See Customization.

Game

Sound & Gameplay

Tide Keep also reduces effects on its own while your device is in Low Power Mode or running hot.

Online

Setting	What it does
Play online	Signs in to Game Center, joins the leaderboards and lets you invade other captains from the Harbor. Off by default. Needs the parent PIN to turn on, if one is set.
Status	Whether you're signed in to Game Center, and whether your castle is being shared
Leaderboards	The top captains worldwide and among your friends
Invasion alerts	A notification when another captain invades your castle
Delete my online data	Removes your shared castle and raids from iCloud, and turns online play off. See Privacy & Data.

iCloud backup

Shows when your progress was last backed up to iCloud. Tap it to back up now. See Privacy & Data.

More

Shop & Purchases

• Show the shop: turn off to hide the shop button and pearl offers. Pearls from achievements still work. Needs the parent PIN to change, if one is set.
• Restore purchases
• Codes: redeem a Tide Keep promo code or an App Store code.

Parents

Set a parent PIN to choose a four-digit PIN. Kids play freely, but these need the PIN:

• Every real-money purchase
• Redeeming an App Store code
• Emails from Help Us Improve
• Web pages, such as the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
• Turning on online play
• Showing or hiding the shop

After three wrong tries, the keypad locks for five minutes. Use Change parent PIN or Turn off parent PIN to manage it; both ask for the current PIN.

Forgot the PIN

Deleting and reinstalling the game doesn't remove the PIN. To reset it:

1. On the PIN keypad, tap Forgot PIN?.
2. Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode.
3. Tap Choose a New PIN and enter a new one twice, or tap Turn off parent PIN.

Only someone who can unlock the device can do this. If the PIN was asked for a purchase or a link, a reset doesn't approve it: try again with the new PIN. A device with no passcode can't reset the PIN; set a passcode in the iOS Settings app first.

Help Us Improve

Suggest a feature and Report a bug open a message to Odd Omens. Write what happened, then tap Send. It opens in Mail, or in the share sheet if Mail isn't set up.

Include game details (on by default) adds the app version, device model, iOS version, your island, castle stage, Infamy and tower count. No personal information is added.

Terms & Privacy

Opens the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy on oddomens.com.

Reset progress

At the bottom of Settings, Reset progress starts your island game over from scratch. Confirm with Reset Everything.

Pearls from achievements are paid only once, so claiming them again after a reset pays gold but no pearls.
