Wiki

The Wiki is Sacred Wiki's encyclopedia. It has articles of three kinds:

KindWhat it covers
PeopleFigures from Scripture and church history, with other names they're known by and, where known, birth and death dates.
LocationsCities, regions, mountains, rivers and other places, usually with their modern name.
ItemsObjects, artifacts and ideas, such as the Ark of the Covenant, the Dead Sea Scrolls or the Trinity.

The home page shows how many of each the site has.

Browse articles

  1. Select Wiki in the header.
  2. Choose a tab: All, People, Locations or Items. Each tab shows how many articles it has.
  3. Articles are listed as cards in alphabetical order. Select a card to open the article.

To read something at random, select the dice button next to the search field.

Type in the Search... field at the top of the Wiki. Results appear as you type.

Search looks in:

  • the name and summary of every article
  • other names a person is known by
  • the modern name of a location
  • the significance of an item

Search only covers the tab you have open. To search everything, choose All first.

Search covers Wiki articles only. To find an event, use the Timeline.
