Net Worth & Debt

The Net Worth Tracker adds up your wallets and assets and subtracts the debts you've entered in the Debt Payoff Planner.

Net Worth Tracker

Open the menu and tap Net Worth Tracker.

The header shows Total Net Worth. The Breakdown card shows how it's made up:

LineWhere it comes from
Cash (Wallets)Lifetime revenue minus expenses across all your wallets.
Assets (Items)The total value of the assets you've added here.
Liabilities (Debt)The total balance of the debts in the Debt Payoff Planner.

Total Net Worth = Cash + Assets − Liabilities.

  2. Enter an Asset Name, an optional Description and the Value.
  3. Choose a Category.

WARNING

If you link an asset to a wallet and later delete that wallet, the asset is deleted too.

  3. Performance shows the Total Change and Percent Change from the first recorded value to the current value.

Debt Payoff Planner

The Debt Payoff Planner estimates when you'll be debt free. Open the menu and tap Debt Payoff Planner.

Add your debts

  1. Next to Debts, tap +. A new debt appears with sample values.
  2. Enter the debt name, its Balance, its annual interest Rate (%) and its Min Pay (minimum monthly payment).
  3. Tap the trash button on a debt to remove it.

Changes save automatically.

Choose a strategy

StrategyHow extra money is applied
High Interest (Save on Interest)Extra payment goes to the debt with the highest interest rate first. This usually costs the least interest. Also called the avalanche method.
Low Balance (Quick Wins)Extra payment goes to the debt with the lowest balance first, so you clear individual debts sooner. Also called the snowball method.

Enter your Monthly Extra Payment: the amount you can pay each month on top of all the minimums.

Read the result

Fen simulates your payoff month by month. Each month it adds interest, pays every minimum, then applies the extra payment by your strategy. When a debt is paid off, its minimum payment rolls into the extra payment for the rest.

The result card shows:

  • Debt Free Date: when the last debt reaches zero.
  • Total Debt: the sum of your current balances.
  • Monthly Total: your minimum payments plus your extra payment.

If your payments can't clear the debts within 100 years, Fen asks you to add debts and a budget instead of showing a date.
