Viewer
The viewer shows assets full screen, one at a time, so you can flip through a folder or view without the grid.
Open the viewer
- Double-click an asset, or
- Select an asset and press Return, or
- Select an asset and click View in the toolbar.
The viewer opens on that asset and lets you move through every asset in the current view, in the current sort order.
Getting around
| Action | How |

| Next asset | Press → or click the arrow on the right. |
| Previous asset | Press ← or click the arrow on the left. |
| Jump to an asset | Click its thumbnail in the strip along the bottom. |
| Close | Press Esc or click × in the top-right corner. |
The top bar shows the asset's title (or file name) and its position, for example 12 of 240.
What you'll see
| File type | In the viewer |
|---|---|
| Images | The full-resolution file. SVGs sit on a soft background so transparent areas stay visible. |
| Video | Starts playing with standard playback controls. |
| Audio | Starts playing with a player under the file name. |
| EPS | The rendered preview, if Beaver could make one. |
| AI and PDF | A message that no preview is available. Open the file from the inspector instead. |
