Beaver
Beaver is a free, open-source Mac app for browsing and organizing the images, videos, vectors and audio files already on your drive. You link the folders you work from, and Beaver builds a searchable library of thumbnails without copying or moving anything. It's made for designers, developers and anyone who keeps a lot of reference files.
Highlights
- Link any folder and Beaver indexes it in place, then keeps the library in sync as files are added, changed or removed.
- Tags, star ratings, favorites, titles, notes and source URLs for every asset, plus an automatic color palette for images.
- Rename, duplicate, move and delete one file or many at once, and remove image backgrounds on your Mac.
- A full-screen viewer with keyboard navigation and video and audio playback.
- Grid or masonry layouts, four thumbnail sizes, light and dark themes and six accent colors.
- Keyboard-first navigation across the whole grid.
