Privacy & Data
Pixel Studio has no accounts, sign-in or forms. The images, videos, SVGs and files you open are processed in your browser and are never uploaded. Exports are created in your browser and saved straight to your computer.
What's stored
Only Grit Designer stores anything, and only in your browser's local storage:
| Data | Key | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your saved presets | dithered_presets | So your presets are there next time. |
| Your saved custom palettes | dithered_custom_palettes | So your palettes are there next time. |
| Your Settings choices: sidebar layout, accent color, default export format and default zoom | grit_sidebar_layout, grit_theme_accent, grit_default_export_format, grit_default_zoom | So the tool opens the way you left it. |
Micro Designer, Stamp Designer and Sticker Mockup store nothing. Your work in them is lost when you close or reload the page, unless you export it or, in Stamp Designer, save a project file.
Pixel Studio doesn't set any cookies of its own.
What leaves your device
| Destination | What's sent | Why |
|---|---|---|
Pixel Studio (pixelstudio.oddomens.com) | Requests for the tools' pages and code. | To load the tools. Nothing you open or create is sent. |
Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) | Requests for fonts, on the home page, Grit Designer, Micro Designer and Stamp Designer. | To show the interface fonts. Like any web request, Google sees your IP address. |
githack (raw.githack.com) | A request for a lighting file, when Sticker Mockup shows your first sticker. | The 3D preview uses it for reflections. Nothing about your artwork is sent. |
| Cloudflare | Cloudflare hosts the site and adds a small bot-protection script to each page. | Hosting and security. |
Pixel Studio has no analytics.
Permissions
Pixel Studio doesn't ask for any browser permissions. It doesn't use your camera, microphone, location or notifications. Micro Designer's To Figma button writes to your clipboard when you click it.
Export and delete your data
- Grit Designer: use Export All Presets in Manage Presets to save your presets as a file. Delete presets and palettes with their delete buttons.
- To remove everything Grit Designer has stored, clear the site data for pixelstudio.oddomens.com in your browser settings.
- There's nothing to delete on a server, because nothing is sent to one.
