Builder

The Builder is a free editor for social graphics, app promos and App Store screenshot sets. You combine your images and videos with text, a call-to-action button, an iPhone mockup, frames, textures and simple animation, then export a PNG, a video or a ZIP of screenshots.

Click Builder in the top bar to open it. You don't need an account to make and export designs. You need one only to submit a design.

Your work isn't saved. Reloading or leaving the page clears the canvas, so export before you go.

The workspace

The canvas fills the middle of the screen. The toolbar along the bottom opens each panel:

Frame	Canvas size, frame style, border, shadow, effects and background.
Animate	Animation (Beta): motion styles and video length.
Text	Typography: text layers.
CTA	CTA Button: a call-to-action button.
Mockup	Device Mockup: an iPhone frame around a screenshot.
ASO	Turns ASO mode on or off. See App Store screenshot sets.
Export	Downloads your design.
Submit	Sends your design for review.

Panels float over the canvas. Drag a panel by its title bar to move it, and click its close button to hide it.

Add images and videos

1. Drag files onto the canvas, or click the Upload Image area and pick them. You can pick several at once.
2. To add more later, open Layers and click + Add Image.

You can have up to 4 images or videos on the canvas. Videos play muted and on a loop.

In the Layers panel, each item has buttons to move it up or down, Replace Content and Delete Image.

Drag items on the canvas to move them. They snap to the center of the canvas when you get close.

Frame

Control	Options
Canvas	Story (1080 × 1920), Portrait (1080 × 1350) or Square (1080 × 1080).
Frame Style	None, or Browser to wrap images in a browser window. Theme sets the browser frame to Light or Dark.
Border	Scale (50–150%) and Radius (0–200 px) of the images.
Shadow	Blur (0–100), Y-Off (-50 to 50) and Opacity (0–100%).
Effects	A texture over the whole design: none, noise, grain, scanlines, halftone, grid, fabric, vignette, CRT, VHS, glitch or dust. Intensity sets its strength.
Background	Type a hex color, or pick from Colors or Gradients.

Text

1. Click Text in the toolbar, then + Add Text.
2. Type in Edit Text.
3. Set the font, style and color.

Control	Options
Font	20 fonts in sans-serif, serif, monospace, display and handwriting styles, including Inter, Montserrat, Playfair, Space Mono, Bebas Neue and Permanent Marker.
Style	Bold, italic and all caps.
Weight	Light (300) to Black (900).
Size	20–300.
Spacing	Letter spacing, -10 to 40.
Color	A color picker or hex value.

You can add up to 5 text layers. Click Delete Layer to remove the selected one.

With a text layer selected on the canvas:

Key	Action
Arrow keys	Nudge 1 pixel. Hold Shift to move 10 pixels.
Delete or Backspace	Delete the layer.
Esc	Deselect.

CTA button

Click CTA to add a button and edit it:

• Text on the button.
• Shape: Square, Rounded or Pill.
• Button Color and Text Color.
• Font Size (12–80), Padding X (10–120) and Padding Y (4–60).

Drag the button on the canvas to place it. Click Remove CTA to take it off.

Device mockup

The mockup puts a screenshot inside an iPhone frame.

1. Click Mockup.
2. Pick a frame Color: Silver, Deep Blue or Orange.
3. Click Upload Screenshot. For the best fit, use a 1290 × 2796 image.
4. Adjust Scale (30–200%) and Y Offset.

Click Remove Mockup to take it off.

Templates

Click Templates and pick a layout to start from. There are 18, including Text Only, Text & Image, Text & Mockup, Headline Focus, Mockup Promo, App Download, Feature Callout and Mega Sale. Loading a template removes the images on the canvas and applies the template's layout. Some templates add a placeholder image for you to replace using Replace Content in Layers.

Animation

Click Animate to open Animation (Beta).

• Style: Static, Gentle, Pop, Slide, Pulse, Float, Spin, Glitch, Zoom, Bounce, Fade or Swing.
• Video Duration: 5s, 10s or 15s.
• Speed (0.5–2x), Offset (0–500 ms) and Intensity (0.5–2x).

The canvas previews the animation as you change it.

Export

Click Export.

• With the animation style set to Static, you get a PNG at the canvas size.
• With any other style, the Builder records the animation in real time for the chosen duration, then downloads a video. The button reads Recording... while it works. Keep the tab open until the download starts.

Videos are MP4 in browsers that can record MP4. Other browsers record WebM, though the file is still named builder-animation.mp4.

App Store screenshot sets

ASO mode is for building a set of App Store screenshots.

1. Click ASO. The canvas switches to iPhone size (1290 × 2796) and a slide strip appears.
2. Design the first slide.
3. Click + in the slide strip to add a slide, or Duplicate to copy the current one. Click a slide to edit it, or its × to delete it.
4. Click Export to download the current slide as a PNG, or Export All to download every slide as PNGs in a ZIP file.

Click ASO again to leave ASO mode. The canvas goes back to Story size.

Submit a design

You can send a design to Indexed Graphics for review. You need to be signed in.

1. Add at least one image or a mockup.
2. Click Submit.
3. Fill in Brand Name or Your Name. One of them is required.
4. Optionally choose a Link Type (Website or Threads) and enter a Link or Handle.
5. Click Submit Design.

The current canvas is uploaded as a PNG. An admin reviews each submission before it's published.
