Ships & Fleet

Your fleet sails your invasions. You build ships and fit them with parts in the Harbor, using Doubloons. Looks never change how a ship fights; see Customization for those.

The Harbor appears once online play is on.

Your starting fleet

You start with two Sloops, a Brigantine, 150 Doubloons and 1,000 trophies. That's enough to invade straight away, and to build another ship once your castle grows.

The Ships tab

The Harbor's Ships tab has three parts:

  1. Who sails: the ships in your fleet, top to bottom in sailing order. Pick a lane for each one, and use the arrows to change the order or take a ship out.
  2. Your ships: every ship you own. Tap a ship to open the Shipwright and change its parts. Tap Add to the fleet to send it out.
  3. Build a new ship: buy a new ship with Doubloons.

Fleet points

Bigger ships take more fleet points. Your best castle ever raised sets how many points your fleet can carry. A fleet holds up to 10 ships.

Your best castle is remembered when you set sail for a new island or reset your progress, so your fleet never shrinks.

Parts

Every ship has four part slots. The first part in each slot is free; the rest are bought once with Doubloons and can then be fitted to any ship.

The Shipwright

The Shipwright shows your ship on the water, with three bars over it: Hull, Speed and Wall damage, each out of 100. Tap a part to try it: the bars show what it gains in green and loses in red, and perks that aren't numbers are listed underneath. Then fit it, buy and fit it, or see what unlocks it.

You can also name each ship here (up to 24 characters), or let the game suggest one.

Refits

Ships sunk in an invasion, and fireships or Powder Hold ships that are spent, go to refit for 90 seconds per fleet point before they can sail again. Ships are never lost. Tap Finish next to a refitting ship to finish it now with gold.

Doubloons

Doubloons are only earned in the Harbor, and only spent on ships, parts and part levels.

Level 2 takes 100 XP, and each level after takes 25 more than the last.
