Analytics
The Analytics tab summarizes your journal for one year at a time. Statistics appear once you've logged at least one dream in that year.
Choose a year
The year is shown in the top right.
- Tap the year to pick a different one.
- Double-tap the year to jump back to the current year.
Everything on the tab updates to the year you pick.
Year summary
The top of the tab reads like a sentence: how many dreams and nightmares you recorded that year, how many nights are "forgotten", and how many are "yet to come".
- Forgotten nights are days of the year so far with no dream logged.
- Yet to come is the number of days left in the current year. It's zero for past years.
AI Insight
A short, AI-written observation about your patterns. Tap the sparkle button to generate it. This card only appears when AI Features is on. See AI Features.
Consistency
A heatmap with one square for every day of the year:

| Blue | You logged a dream that day. |
| Red | You logged a nightmare that day. |
| Purple | You logged both. |
| Gray | Nothing logged. |
Your top person, place and theme
If your entries have people, locations or tags, a card names the person, location and tag you dream about most.

| Current Streak | Days in a row, up to today or yesterday, with at least one entry. |
| Longest Streak | The longest run of days in a row with at least one entry that year. |
| Weekly Avg | Entries for the year divided by 52. |
| Monthly Avg | Entries for the year divided by 12. |
| Dreams | Dreams from overnight sleep (not naps). |
| Nightmares | Nightmares from overnight sleep (not naps). |
| Nap Dreams | Dreams marked Nap. |
| Nap Nightmares | Nightmares marked Nap. |
| Lucid Dreams | The percentage of entries marked Lucid Dream. |
| Recurring | Entries marked Recurring. |
| Best Month | The month with the most entries. |
| Most Active | The day of the week with the most entries. |
Top Themes, Top People and Top Locations
These lists show your five most-used tags, people and locations for the year, with how many entries each appears in. When there are more than five, tap the arrow next to the heading to see the full list.
Share your statistics
- Tap the share button in the top right of the Analytics tab.
- Choose Story (tall, 9:16) or Post (4:5).
- Abysm creates a "My Year in Dreams" image with your dream and nightmare counts, lucid percentage, the people, places and themes you dream about most, your consistency heatmap and your current streak.
- Tap the share button in the top right to send it to another app.
