Lineage
Lineage is an interactive family tree of the people in Sacred Wiki. It starts with God and Adam and branches out through Noah, the patriarchs and the kings of Judah, down to Jesus.
Moving around the tree
- Pan: drag the background.
- Zoom: scroll, pinch on a touchscreen, or use the + and − buttons in the corner.
- Fit to screen: the button under the zoom controls fits the whole tree in the window.
- Rearrange: drag a person's box to move it. The change lasts until you leave the page.
Reading the tree
Each box shows a person's name and, where known, their birth date. The boxes for God and Jesus are outlined in gold.
The legend in the bottom-left corner explains the lines:
| Line | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Messianic Lineage (thick gold) | The line of descent from Adam through Abraham and David to Jesus, following the genealogy in Matthew 1. |
| Parent / Child (thin solid) | A parent and their child. |
| Spouse (dashed) | A married couple. Spouses who aren't otherwise in the tree appear beside their partner. |
