Folders, Search & Recently Deleted
Folders
Media, Notes and Passwords each have their own folders, and folders can hold other folders. Folder names are encrypted like everything else.
- Create a folder: choose New Folder from the + menu in Media, the sort menu in Notes, or the folder button in Passwords. It's created inside the folder you're in.
- Rename, move or delete a folder: touch and hold it for Rename, Move and Delete Folder. In Notes and Passwords you can also swipe it.
- Move items into a folder: choose Move on an item, then pick the folder. Move To also lets you create a new folder.
Deleting a folder deletes the folders inside it too. Everything in them moves to Recently Deleted. If you restore those items later, they come back at the top level.
Search
The Search tab searches the sections you have turned on:

Search runs entirely on your device.
Recently Deleted
Deleted photos, videos, documents, notes and logins go to Settings › Vault › Recently Deleted. They stay encrypted there for 30 days and are left out of your lists, search and AutoFill. Each item shows how many days it has left.
- Restore an item: swipe right on it, or touch and hold it and tap Restore.
- Delete an item now: swipe left on it, or touch and hold it and tap Delete Now.
- Restore All and Delete All are in the More menu.
Deleting from Recently Deleted can't be undone. With iCloud Sync on, it removes the items from all your devices.
Items are erased only after 30 days have passed by the deletion date and Stillock on this device has itself measured 30 days. Changing your device's date can't make items disappear early. Restarting the device can make them stay a little longer.
