Customization
Your castle and fleet share one banner colour and one emblem, so your ships match your castle. You can also give the fleet its own sail colour, flag or a full livery. Looks never change how anything fights.
Open Customize
- Settings > Captain & Castle > Customize your castle and fleet
- The Harbor's Ships tab > Fleet looks, or Fleet looks in the Shipwright
Customize has three sides, each with its own tabs, and shows your castle or ship in 3D as you change it:

Tap a look you own to wear it. Tap a locked look to preview it; the bar underneath shows how to unlock it, or a pearl price to buy it. Pearl purchases are kept even if you reset your progress.
Banner
Colour
Your colour flies on the castle's roofs and banners, and on your ships' sails and flag while they fly Your Colours. Roofs and banners show once your castle is a Royal Castle.

Emblem
Your emblem flies on the castle's banners and on every ship's flag and mainsail. Raiders and rival captains see it too. Pick White, Gold or Black for its colour.

Ship
Every ship in your fleet wears the same looks. Sails and flag start in Your Colours, your banner colour, and the flag always carries your emblem. Captains you invade see your fleet's looks, in the battle and in their replay.

Livery
A livery repaints the whole ship in a warlord's colours, over its sail colour and hull paint. Picking a sail colour or hull paint takes the livery off. Pick Your own colours to go back to your own sails and hull.

Captain levels and leagues come from the Harbor. Your Captain level also rises from the island game, so some ship looks unlock even if you never invade.
Your name and island
Change your name, Lord or Lady, and your home island's name in Settings > Captain & Castle. Names can be up to 18 characters. The game addresses you as, for example, "Lady Elinor of Saltmere".
Your captain's name for online play is separate. Set it on the Harbor's Captain tab. See Harbor & Invasions.
App icon
Pick the ship on your home screen in Settings > App Icon. iOS asks you to confirm the change.
