Summary, Analytics & Sharing

Three screens in the menu's Reports section help you look back: Summary for a quick overview, Analytics for a habit-by-habit view of a whole year, and Share for images of your progress.

Summary

Open the menu and tap Summary. Choose a time frame at the top: Today, Week, Month or Year. Week, month and year cover the current calendar week, month and year.

SectionWhat it shows
Tasks ringTasks completed out of tasks in the time frame
Habits ringYour habit completion percentage for the time frame
Task CompletionThe same task count, with a short message
Habit ConsistencyThe same habit percentage, with a short message
Goal ProgressFor each goal habit, the amount tracked against the target for the time frame

Analytics

Open the menu and tap Analytics. Pick a year from the row at the top. Only habits that were active during that year are shown.

The summary cards cover all habits for the selected year:

CardMeaning
Total CompletionsCompletions across all habits
Average SuccessAverage success rate across habits
Hottest StreakThe highest current streak among your habits
Longest StreakThe longest streak among your habits
Total MissedDays that were neither completed nor skipped
Total SkippedDays you marked as skipped

Below the cards, each habit has its own card with:

  • A calendar heatmap of the year, with weekday labels. Days you completed are filled with your accent color.
  • Current Streak, Longest Streak, completions, Success Rate, Missed and Skipped for that year.
  • For goal habits, the total amount tracked and the target for the year.
  • The habit's start date, and its end date if it has one.

For what each stat means, see Habit stats.

Share

Open the menu and tap Share to create an image of your progress. Swipe between three cards:

Daily SnapshotToday's habits completed out of total, and your current streak
Streak HeatmapYour activity over the last 365 days, with your best and average day
Full ReportToday's habits, tasks, time blocks, reminders and calendar events, plus the heatmap

Tap Share to open the system share sheet. The card is shared as an image along with a short text summary, such as "My progress today: 3/5 habits complete." You choose where it goes: Messages, a social app, Photos, Files and so on. Nothing is shared until you pick a destination.
