Your Settings

Everyone on the server has their own Settings, in the account menu. Changes save as you make them and apply to your account on every device.

Profile

Your picture and how your account is set up on the server, including your role. Upload a JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF up to 5 MB. It's cropped to a square.

Security

• Password: enter your current password and a new one of at least 8 characters. Changing it signs you out everywhere, this browser included.
• Two-factor sign-in: press Turn on two-factor to require a code from an authenticator app as well as your password. See Accounts and Access. Once it's on, you can make New backup codes or Turn off two-factor, both of which need your password and a current code.
• Signed-in devices: Sign out of all devices ends every session on every phone, browser and TV, including this one.

Appearance

If your admin allows it, you can pick your own:

• Accent colour: one of 16.
• Navigation: Top Navigation or Sidebar.
• Page width: Full Width, or Contained (centred, up to 1440px).
• Video pause screen: Simple, Details, Cinematic or Bedtime. See Movies and Shows.

Each shows what's in effect for you, with a live preview. Anything your admin has locked shows the server's choice, marked "Set by your admin". Light or dark mode is the sun and moon button in the top bar.

Shelves

• Media types: which kinds of media appear on your shelves. Keep at least one.
• Start on: the shelf Plinthio opens to.
• Shelf views: which views appear above your shelf. Alphabetical is always there. See The Shelf.

Hidden Titles

Titles you've hidden with Hide from Shelf. Only you stop seeing them. Bring one back any time from here.

Activity

What you've read, watched and listened to, your statistics, and your recent sign-ins.

Apps & API Keys

• Reading apps: setup steps and the exact addresses for Mihon, KOReader and OPDS readers on your server. See Reading Apps.
• API keys: make a key for each app or script, with a name such as "Mihon on my phone". Copy it straight away, because it's only shown once. Revoke a key to sign that app out.

Settings Kept in the Readers and Player

Some settings live where you use them, and still follow you to every device:

• Video player: your skip-back and skip-forward amounts, in the player's settings menu (⚙).
• Page reader: reading direction per series, single or double pages, and page turn style.
• Book reader: page colour, font, size, spacing, margins, alignment, layout and columns, under Aa.
• Audiobook player: playback speed, per book.
