Settings
Open the Settings tab to change your profile, how Abysm looks and behaves, and to manage your data.
Profile
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Name | The name Abysm uses to greet you on the Dreams tab and in the Chat tab. |
| Bedtime | When you usually go to sleep. Tap it and drag the moon around the dial, then tap Done. |
| Wake Up | When you want to start your day. Tap it and drag the sun around the dial, then tap Done. |
Customize
| Setting | Default | What it does |

| AI Features | On | Shows or hides the Chat tab, the AI options in a dream's ••• menu, and the AI Insight card in Analytics. See AI Features. |
| Show Intro on Launch | On | Plays the short "Dream. Record. Analyze." intro each time you open Abysm. |
| Starfield Background | On | Shows the animated starfield behind the headers of each tab. Turn it off for a plain background. |
| Hide Premium Features | Off | Hides the Record Voice Note button when you log or edit a dream. Abysm is free, and nothing is locked. |
| Highlight Color | Blue | The accent color used for the tab bar and switches. |
Highlight colors
Tap Highlight Color and choose one of 11 colors: Blue, Pink, Orange, Cyan, Purple, Green, Red, Yellow, Indigo, Teal or Mint. The change applies right away.
Data
These options permanently delete entries. Each one asks you to confirm first, and none can be undone.

|---|---|
| Clear All Data | Every dream and nightmare, with their stories and interpretations. |
| Clear Dreams | Every entry not marked as a nightmare. Nightmares are kept. |
| Clear Nightmares | Every entry marked as a nightmare. Dreams are kept. |
Your name, settings, and the items you added in Manage Metadata are not affected. To delete everything, including your iCloud copy, see Privacy & Data.

| About Abysm | Shows a short description of Abysm, credits, and links to the Odd Omens website and X account. |
| Documentation | Opens the documentation website in your browser. |
| Email Support | Starts an email to support@oddomens.com. |
| Report an Issue | Starts an email to support with the subject "Issue Report". |
| Request a Feature | Starts an email to support with the subject "Feature Request". |
About Abysm
| Option | What it does |

| Rate Abysm | Opens Abysm in the App Store so you can leave a rating or review. |
| Version | Tap to see Version History, the release notes for each version. |
