Stamp Designer
Stamp Designer makes vintage-style postage stamps. You set the size, perforated edges, paper and ink colors, then layer text, images and postmarks on top. You can design a single stamp or a sheet of up to six, and export a PNG.
Open it from the Pixel Studio home page, or go to pixelstudio.oddomens.com/stamp-designer/.
The workspace
- Left panel: four tabs, Stamp, Style, Cell and Templates, with Export PNG, Save Project and Load at the bottom.
- Center: the stamp. The label below it shows the layout and the sheet size in pixels.
- Right panel: Add Elements, Layers, and the properties of whatever you select.
A new stamp is 340 × 420 pixels on cream paper.

Choose how many stamps are on the sheet: 1×1, 1×2, 1×3, 2×1, 2×2 or 2×3 (columns × rows). Each stamp on a sheet is a cell.

Click one of eight palettes to set the paper, ink and tint at once: Vintage Espresso, Retro Airmail, Midnight Silver, Botanical Forest, Royal Gold, Mint Vintage, Sepia Nostalgia or Nordic Blue. Or set them yourself:
- Paper / Background
- Ink / Border
- Colour tint, with Tint opacity (0–100%), which washes the stamp with a color.
Postage & Country Helper
Click Add Postage Helpers to add a country name and a postage value in the corners. Then:
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Preset Country | USA, Japan, Nippon, UK, China, France, Germany, Canada, Australia, India or Brazil. |
| Preset Postage | Five typical postage values for that country, in its currency. |
| Custom Country / Custom Postage | Type your own text. |
| Location | Moves the country or postage to Top-Left, Top-Right, Bottom-Left or Bottom-Right. |
| Swap Corners | Swaps the country and postage positions. |
Picking a colour palette also recolors the country and postage text to match the ink.

- Inner Frame: None, Thin or Double. Draws a border inside the perforated edge in the ink color.
Cell tab
Use this tab for background images and multi-stamp sheets.

- Per Cell: each stamp has its own image. Click Upload Cell Image.
- For either kind of image, set Fit (Cover, Contain or Stretch) and Opacity, or click Remove to take it off.
On a sheet with more than one stamp, you also get:
- Sync Design Across Cells: on by default. Changes to elements and cell background images apply to every stamp on the sheet. Turn it off to design each stamp separately.
- Apply Active Cell to All Stamps: copies the active stamp's elements and background image to every stamp.
Templates tab
Twelve starter templates, each with a preview: Vintage 1920s, Modern Airmail, Classic Oval, Soviet Space Program, Gothic Imperforate, Botanical Garden, Royal Gold, Oceanic Expedition, Cosmic Space, Wild Animals, National Parks and Vintage Motors.
Clicking a template sets the colors, texture and frame, and replaces the elements on your stamps. Elements are scaled to fit your current stamp size. Press Cmd+Z or Ctrl+Z to undo.
