A pact isn't showing on Today

A pact appears on Today only when:

• Today is one of its active days. A Weekdays pact doesn't show on Saturday or Sunday.
• Its start date has arrived and its end date hasn't passed.
• It isn't paused. Paused pacts are in the Paused section of the Pacts tab.

Also check that you're looking at today. If the date at the top isn't today, tap Today next to the date buttons.

I can't edit my pact

Pacts are editable for 24 hours after you create them. After that, open the pact, tap ... > Unlock Editing... and tap Unlock. To turn off the 24-hour window for all pacts, turn on Allow Editing Anytime in More > Customization > Display. See Edit a pact.

My streak reset

A streak ends when an active day has no check-in marked done. That includes days you marked Missed and earlier days you didn't log. If you did the pact but forgot to log it, go back to that day on the Today tab or in the pact's Calendar and mark it done. See How streaks work.

Insights is locked

Insights unlocks after you've logged 10 check-ins. See Insights.

I'm not getting notifications

See Notifications aren't arriving.

My data isn't syncing between devices

• Check that each device is signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud turned on.
• Check that your iCloud storage isn't full.
• Open Pacts on both devices and give it a little time. Sync runs in the background through iCloud.

Preferences, milestones and XP don't sync. They're stored separately on each device.

Can I use Pacts without goals or protocols?

Yes. Your pacts work on their own. To hide the tabs, go to More > Customization > Navigation and turn on Hide Goals and Hide Protocols.
