Version History
Versions are the Swift package's release tags. The Worker and dashboard are updated from the same repository; see Updating.
1.0.2
- Added groups:
Analytics.track(_:group:metadata:)puts an event in a named group, and each group gets its own section on the app's dashboard page. - The user ID on iOS is now the device's identifier for vendor, so it's shared by apps from the same developer. Events also send it as
device_id. - Queued events are sent when the app is about to become inactive.
- Events are sent sooner by default: every 5 seconds or every 10 events (was 10 seconds or 20 events).
- Dashboard: app display names and icons (Customize App), event display names (Rename Event), a daily active users heatmap, a user detail page with an activity log and metadata viewer, and deleting events, users and apps.
1.0.1
- Failed batches are now retried: events are put back in the queue after a server error, rate limit or network failure, up to 1,000 queued events. Batches rejected for a client error are dropped.
1.0.0
- First release: the Swift package (
configure, trackwith metadata, flush, resetSession), the Cloudflare Worker API with a D1 database, and the dashboard.
